Shopping.com Launches New Consumer Experience

Shopping.com, www.au.shopping.com, Australia's largest shopping comparison site, consistently receiving over 1.2 million unique visitors each month according to Nielsen Netratings, this week launches site enhancements as part of a new consumer experience.
The new features are designed to improve the consumer experience to increase the likelihood of conversion from browsing to buying. 

The enhancements include visual search within a grid view where all products now have a 'quick look' function to allow consumers to get more information on a product before clicking through to an etailer's site. Adam Canter from Shopping.com said, 'Our focus is on making it as easy as possible for people to find what they want quickly and at the best price which is great for them and delivers great results for our merchants'.

Other new features include a 'People who shopped for this product also shopped for…' suggestion box to highlight similar products to increase the number of items purchased with each visit.

The changes follow the recently re-launched shoes category on Shopping.com which now gives visitors to the site the option of narrowing their search of over 10,000 shoes by an extended range of variables including color, size, brand and gender.

Adam Canter went on to say, 'Having all of the most relevant information readily to hand, in a clear visual format makes it much faster to click through to one of over 550 etailers that we work with, so the new features also mean we are creating better qualified leads for our merchants.'
