Myer has launched its new look website, featuring an expanded 'shop for gifts' option

The new site focuses on five core categories - fashion, electrical, beauty and cosmetics, toys and homewares. It also houses the latest catalogues and a section dedicated to its Myer One loyalty program.

The retail component of the online department store is limited to three categories - for him, for her and for home. A separate area allows shoppers to select from one of three denominations. Gifts are able to be sent within Australia for a flat delivery rate of $8.

The fashion component attempts to delivery interactivity to browsers, providing a limited number of videos by fashion designers stocked by Myer and Myer sponsored event coverage under the title 'fashion files' and a behind the scenes look at the shooting of its catalogue.
